Who are you ?

Hey! My name is Melanie Darmon, I am 24 years old and I live in Paris. In life, I am a hearing care professional, Instagram content creator and model

What can you find on your Instagram ?

My state of mind. Quite shy by nature, I express myself through what I share: first and foremost fashion but also art, photography and music. I leave nothing to chance, my photos and captions always contain innuendo to my emotions or moments of life.

What’s your style ?

You can see it in my different professions, I don’t like to put myself in a box so it is impossible for me to describe my style. The best compliment anyone can give me? Tell me I’m different. My style changes with the seasons and with my personal and professional experiences. When I was younger, I said I would never wear pumps with socks on. I did it last season, and loved the result. So I’m more for the “never say never”.

Why do you think people follows you ?

I don’t know.

For you, what’s Maglone ?

A leather goods symbol of singularity.

What’s your favorite Maglone bag ?

The MAG for its school satchel side but revisited with a contemporary touch.

For you, what is the perfect outfit for this bag ?

A loose black leather jumpsuit and chunky white sneakers and you can take over the world !

What’s important for you in fashion today ?

Reduce fast fashion. When I was younger I was addicted to it. It is so easy today to renew your wardrobe without breaking the bank. But beyond the social impact, fast fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world. Buy less, buy better.

What’s the other influencers you like ?

I like @alizeegamberini and @endlesslyloveclub but I also really like following photographers like @purienne.

What’s your favorite place in the world ?

I love to travel, I’m the happiest when I’m on a plane, but my favorite place will always be Paris. I have lived there since I was born and not a day goes by that I am not in awe of a new, unexplored corner.

An advice for 2021 ?

There is a phrase I like that says “if it was easy, everyone would do it“. This is often what I repeat to myself when I lack motivation. So I would tell you to believe in your plans, and, while some stop before an obstacle, face it and overcome it.
